People looking for more to do in Star Wars Battlefront are going to get it. March marks the debut of the Outer Rim add-on. This DLC pack adds two new heroes, two new maps, a new game mode, and five pieces of equipment. Let’s go through all of it!
The big deal is the new mode, called Extraction. When you choose to play this in Star Wars Battlefront , rebels are trying to get resources in the Outer Rim. Naturally, The Empire is there to try and stop them. You pick a side.
As for the other content, it may not be as robust and memorable as you’d like, but it’s still pretty cool. Greedo, from Star Wars: A New Hope , and Nien Nunb, from Star Wars: Return of the Jedi , will both be added as heroes. The new maps are set near Jabba the Hutt’s palace on Tatooine and in Sullust’s industrial area. While there, you’ll get a chance to use the new Adrenaline Stim, Dioxis Grenade, DT-12 blaster pistol, Relby V-10 rifle, and Scatter Gun.
No word on exactly when the Outer Rim will come to Star Wars Battlefront . They will be here this month. If you bought the $49.99 season pass, you’ll get it the moment it’s available.
