New Xbox Reportedly To Launch With Ryse And Forza

The Xbox 360 launched with a new Project Gotham Racing game, and, according to The Verge , the next Xbox will launch with a new Forza game. This wouldn’t a shock. A new entry in the series is due out later this year and would fit into the two year development cycle from developer Turn 10. A Forza game has been released every two years since 2005. Forza Horizon, 2012’s spin-off, was developed by Playground Games. Forza already pushed the Xbox 360 to its limits graphically, so it makes sense that it’s a game expected to show off what the next Xbox system can do.

But that’s not all. Ryse, the game we first saw back in 2011 at E3, is also expected to be a launch title. While we’ve seen a fair share of teasers for the Crytek developed Kinect game, we haven’t seen anything beyond that. The game isn’t cancelled, but it has gone into the dark. So, a return for the new console wouldn’t be a shock.

Microsoft is expected to hold an event next month to unveil their next system.
