Iron Galaxy, the developer behind Killer Instinct , has just revealed the latest character, Aganos. Uploading a replay of a live stream which showed off his gameplay to their official Youtube channel , the guys at Iron Galaxy showed off everything this giant war golem can do.
Aganos is an absolutely humongous character, easily twice as tall as most others. The camera has to zoom out just to fit him on screen. He has a ton of range on his attacks, far more than any other character in the game, and has the ability to salvage “chunks” of rock off the ground in order to give him invulnerable hits of armor at the cost of speed.
Aganos can store up to four chunks, which allows him to get hit four times without flinching, but which also slows him to a crawl. If he wants to gain speed back, he can use these chunks as projectiles, as a gigantic club, or to set up walls around the battlefield that cannot be passed by characters. By doing this, he can adjust the battlefield to exactly the size he wants, forcing the opponent to close in on him and deal with his armor. Aganos also has the ability to make his opponents crash through walls through the use of certain attacks, and each wall they crash through deals more and more damage, up to 80+% for a maximum of 4 walls on the battlefield.
