Nintendo has recently shared some new info about Mario Kart 8 . First of all, they revealed a couple new items. The first is the Super Horn. This rare item creates shockwaves around your kart which both knock other people off the track and destroy items coming at you. It can even destroy blue shells, something that hasn’t been possible up until now. Another new item is the Crazy 8, an multi-use item that causes a green shell, a red shell, a banana, a mushroom, a star, a blooper, a bob-omb and a coin to rotate around your kart to be used at your leisure.
In addition to these new items, new characters will also be joining the Mario Kart 8 roster. Pink Gold Peach, a metal version of the normal peach, and Baby Rosalina will both be joining the roster. They will be a heavy and light racer respectively.
