Nintendo has revealed its internal sales numbers for both hardware and software over the past nine months ending Dec. 31, 2009. With a quarter in their fiscal year still to go, the company has decided to maintain their previous earnings guidance figures. Apparently somebody’s still making money in this economy. While most of the data is about as interesting as my Twitter feed, there were a few updates worth mentioning. Specifically, Wii has sold almost 68 million units worldwide life-to-date and nearly 510 million units of software. Even better, the Nintendo DS and its derivative offshoots have sold more than 125 million units worldwide life-to-date and over 688 million software units. That’s a lot of yen!
