Spring cleaning is coming early to the Nintendo World Store. Nintendo has announced its New York location will get a whole new ‘do. The site will be closed from January 19 until February 19. During that month, everything will change.
Nintendo hasn’t talked too much about what will and won’t go in, but new Wii U and 3DS demo units are promised, as well as a 15′ screen with games displayed. There will also be a bronze coin above the entrance with “Where everyone comes to play” emblazoned on it.
The grand opening ceremony for the Nintendo World Store relaunch will run February 19-21. People will be in costumes of iconic characters and there will be new merchandise only sold for those three days. Two of the items will be limited T-shirts with either Mario or Link on them.
If you love Nintendo, put off any trips to New York until next month!
