Octodad: Dadliest Catch Is Coming To The Xbox One and Wii U

Late last week, Young Horses, Inc. announced over the official Octodad Twitter account that Octodad: Dadliest Catch is coming to the Xbox One this summer. Shortly after this announcement, a Wii U version was confirmed and is now scheduled to release around the same time.

Octodad: Dadliest Catch is the sequel to the original Octodad game and revolves around an octopus that disguises himself as a human father. The game launched on PC, Mac OS X, Linux, and PS4 early last year.

I personally think that it’s great news to hear that this unique indie title is finally coming to the Xbox One. Microsoft has been trying to repair its relationships with indie developers through the ID@Xbox program and picking up games like this one is definitely a positive move in the right direction.

Have any of you had a chance to play Octodad: Dadliest Catch yet? If so, please feel free to let us know what you think about the game in the comments section below.
