Earlier today, Eurogamer released a news post stating that Oddworld: New ‘n’ Tasty is coming to the Xbox One on March 27. The Oddworld Inhabitants Inc. website also confirmed this release date news along with the game’s $19.99 pricepoint.
Oddworld: New ‘n’ Tasty is a full-fledged remake of the original Oddworld: Abe’s Oddysee that launched on PC and the original PlayStation console way back in 1997. The PS4 version of this game debuted last year and has received generally positive feedback from both critics and gamers alike.
Having this game on the Xbox One shows that Microsoft is really putting its all into the ID@Xbox program. It will be interesting to see what other titles they currently have in the pipeline and are planning to drop later this year.
