According to a recent Activision earnings call, Call of Duty is still one of the most popular online games on the market. When you put all of the Call of Duty games together, including Modern Warfare 3, Modern Warfare 2, Black Ops, and even the original Modern Warfare, over 40 million users play Call of Duty titles every month. Not only that, but 10 million users have subscribed to Call of Duty ELITE, with 2 million of those users being paid members. Players have logged more than 1.6 billion hours of online gameplay on Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, and Call of Duty: Black Ops continues to be one of the most played games on Xbox LIVE, rivaling games like Gears of War 3 and Halo 3.
