PlayStation Network Going Down For Maintenance

PlayStation Network Going Down For Maintenance

None

Sony has recently announced that PlayStation Network will undergo a “significant maintenance period” on Thursday, March 1st. Unfortunately, this means PSN will have to go down for a short period of time. The maintenance period should start at 8:00 am Pacific time and will last until approximately 10pm Pacific time. Yes, this means you will basically have to deal with an entire day without PSN accessibility.

Anyone who is currently signed into PSN at the start of maintenance will be signed out and will be unable to access PSN-related features on their PS3 or Vita. This includes the PlayStation Store, PlayStation Home, account management, or any sort of online play.

This also includes any PSN enabled websites, such as the official U.S. PlayStation blog. As a result, users cannot check the blog to see when the PSN is back online, so Sony suggests that you check the official PlayStation Twitter feed instead.

Then again, if the site works at all, that should be a clear indication that PSN is back up, right?
