In honor of Pokemon’s 20th anniversary, The Pokemon Company and Nintendo have been doing lots of things. One is a legendary Pokemon giveaway, where characters are given away to the 3DS games via codes from GameStop or internet distribution. Now, The Pokemon Bank is giving away three legendaries from Pokemon Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald, Omega Ruby, and Alpha Sapphire.
Here’s how you get the Regirock, Registeel, and Regice. First, you have to be using the Pokemon Bank. (It costs $4.99 a year.) Then, you use the Pokemon Link option in Pokemon X, Y, Alpha Sapphire, or Omega Ruby . These will be sent one-by-one from your bank to the game. You only get one of each character.
The Regirock, Registeel, and Regice all arrive at level 50, knowing Hidden Abilities they don’t know in Pokemon Alpha Sapphire or Omega Ruby . The Regirock knows Sturdy, Regice knows Ice Body, and Registeel knows Light Metal.
Make sure you grab these guys soon! The Pokemon Bank will only distribute them until October 31.
