Fresh off the news that the PS3 version of Netflix would be receiving upgrades before October, a new feature was unleashed on the service. No, it isn’t the ability to watch streaming content without a disc. That one is still being worked on.  However, while the PS3’s Netflix will be late to the disc-free party, it is first console in line for the ability to fully search for movies. According to Joystiq, the system’s service will now allow users to search through the entire online instant streaming library. While a similar update is expected to come to the Xbox 360 version of the service, it isn’t planned until November. |
