PS3 Version Of Portal 2 Getting Extra Feature?

PS3 Version Of Portal 2 Getting Extra Feature?

None

If you are torn between the PC, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3 versions of Portal 2, a newly-announced feature for the PlayStation 3 version might help make up your mind: motion controls! That’s right, the PlayStation 3 version of Portal 2 may be Move-compatible, if you believe a leaked statement today from the PlayStation Blog.

Although Gabe Newell, co-founder of Valve, has dispelled this rumor, the fact that it originally came from a credible source has some people believing that Move support may not be available at launch, but could be implemented in a patch or future re-release of the game.

Support for the PlayStation Move in Portal 2 would make a lot of sense, given Portal’s first-person nature and the way Sony is marketing Move as a hardcore peripheral. The Move has already shown that it can be used successfully in the FPS genre with Killzone 3, so using it in a game like Portal wouldn’t be that much of a leap.
