In the mere two weeks since the PS4 has launched, PS4 users have shared their content over 6.5 million times. This includes streams, gameplay videos, and screenshots. The PS4 controller has a dedicated share button just for this purpose and while the entirety of the PS4 community isn’t necessarily utilizing that function, it”s outstanding that so many pieces of content have already been made.
We have seen a lot of interesting content come out of the PS4’s share capabilities. For example, some users have actually made talk shows about gaming. Others have performed let’s plays or even held online tournaments. Unfortunately, still others have decided that the PS4’s camera is best used to photogrpah their genetalia, but luckily they have been taken off Twitch.TV.
The Xbox One has similar capabilities through the Xbox One Upload studio, however Microsoft hasn’t disclosed how many Xbox One owners have used it.
