A brand new old game is going to get a rerelease on Steam. Q*Bert , the classic puzzle platforming arcade game, is coming to the Steam Library on July 8 th . This new version of the game will include two games in one. The first is Q*Bert classic, a faithful port of the pixelated arcade game. The second, is Q*Bert Rebooted , a brand new remake of the game using 3D graphics with new levels, new enemies, and new playable characters.
“With renewed interest in Q*bert , in part due to the cameo in the recent Wreck It Ralph animated feature film, we are delighted to re-introduce the game and characters to current fans as well as a new generation of gamers who are experiencing Q*bert for the first time,” Vice President, Consumer Products, Worldwide Marketing & Distribution at Sony Pictures Entertainment Mark Caplan said in a statement.
The new Q*Bert will be developed by Gonzo Games and Sideline Entertainment and will retail for five dollars on the PC, with mobile and tablet versions to release later.
