Rayman Legends Spreads The Love This September

Rayman Legends Spreads The Love This September

Ubisoft’s Wii U-exclusive platformer, Rayman Legends, is no longer a Wii U-exclusive. The gorgeous sequel to Rayman Origins is now coming to both the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. However, the title has been delayed for all consoles from February 26 to sometime in September. The game had already been pushed out of the Wii U’s launch window, and another six months raises questions as to what sort of troubles it’s having in development.

Rayman Legends, in the form initially shown, was also heavily influenced by the Wii U’s unique hardware. The touch screen on the Gamepad was to be used for a fifth character, in addition to those actually running each stage, who could influence and alter the stage. This begs the question of how, if that concept is still core to the Rayman Legends experience, it will translate over to the more traditional Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 controllers.
