Razer Unveils new Micro-console, Touted to be “Console of the Future”

As reported by GameSpot on Wednesday, June 25, hardware manufacturer Razer unveiled its new micro-console at Google’s 2014 I/O conference, and it is described by the manufacturer’s CEO Ming-Liang Tan as “ a console of the future.

The micro-console will be powered by Google’s newly announced Android TV, and so the console will also be able to stream movies, music and other apps. According to GameSpot, Razer has assured that the core focus of the micro-console will be gaming.

This is a console of the future, ” Tan said in a statement. ” Built on Google’s incredible Android TV platform, the Razer micro-console incorporates not only hardcore and casual gaming, but music, movies, and other entertainment and social applications, all on an affordable system.

Razer has yet to disclose any pricing information for the micro-console, nor has it disclosed any technical specs. However, the micro-console is said to release this Fall.
