There aren’t many details available at this point, but not many are needed when the developer of one of the most terrifying horror games on the market announces a sequel. Red Barels has announced that a sequel is the works for Outlast , currently titled Outlast 2 .
In the sequel, players will move out of the psychiatric ward from the first game and, instead, have to fight for survival in the great outdoors.
The game will be available for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4. Red Barrels is aiming for a Fall 2016 release. Until then, fans of the franchise will just have to subsist on whatever news coverage we can provide.
Or, of course, they can replay the first game. Always a good decision when it comes to Outlast.
