Respawn Teases New Game With Mysterious Image

Respawn Teases New Game With Mysterious Image

None

Many Call of Duty fans may remember the gigantic Infinity Ward scandal surrounding designers Jason West and Vince Zampella last year. Long story short, there was this big problem with West and Zampella possibly looking to defect to EA, but Activision gave them the boot before they could do so. When all was said and done, West and Zampella just formed their own new company: Respawn Entertainment.

We haven’t heard much from Respawn since it was founded, though we all secretly hoped that they would be making kick-ass shooters. However, they recently opened up their official website, and on it we got to see our first look at their new game—in the form of one really blurry photo. Apparently, these guys are massive teases.

We know that they are working with concept artist Iain McCaig on this new game, and McCaig has done work for the Star Wars prequel trilogy, James Bond, and even The Secret of Monkey Island. Earlier in the month, EA Games head Frank Gibeau said that Respawn was working on a sci-fi shooter, and the greyish pallet of the blurry image at the very least tends to support that.

Maybe their next big preview will be heavily pixilated. We can’t wait!
