Help Wanted at Infinity Ward

Help Wanted at Infinity Ward

None

The beginning of March was a dark time for Infinity Ward. The firings of both Jason West and Vince Zampella sent shockwaves through Infinity Ward, and the game’s industry as a whole. Following their exit from the company, things continue to get worse for Infinity Ward as nearly half of their staff also left the developer, with many presumably rejoining West and Zampella at their newly formed company, Respawn Entertainment.

It would seem as though the bleeding may have finally stopped at Infinity Ward. According to Nowgamers’ Tom Hopkins, the company is looking to hire on more staff in order to replace those that have left. Based on the recent job listings posted on Gamasutra, Infinity Ward appears to be trying to fill positions such as senior software engineer, senior effects artist, senior animator, senior environment artist, and senior game designer. While this is a fairly lengthy list, it at least seems to imply that Activision won’t be dissolving Infinity Ward, for now.
