The $1 billion trial between Activision and former Infinity Ward heads Jason West and Vince Zampella has been settled out of court. The case was scheduled to go to court tomorrow, but attorneys have told Polygon that it now won’t be presented to a jury, with the case being resolved between both parties via an out of court settlement. ![]()
Prior to the aforementioned settlement, Activision decided to pay $42 million to other ex-Infinity Ward developers, thus leaving just West and Zampella to deal with. Furthermore, an out of court settlement was also reached with Electronic Arts, who is now publishing the former Modern Warfare creator’s first title at Respawn Entertainment. By Zak Islam |
