Though we’ve all been worried about the fate of the Uncharted movie (throwing out the game’s plot seemed to be a step in the wrong direction, and then the failed push for the casting of Nathan Fillion just furthered fan ambivalence) it looks like the Uncharted film project may be getting at least some star interest. In a recent interview, Robert De Niro said he was “aware” of the project and would be interested in working on it.  Now whether this awareness translates into something concrete has yet to be seen, but it seems De Niro is keen to work with David O. Russell (he was a big fan of The Fighter), so we hope to hear something about this soon. |
