RUMOR: A New Look For The PlayStation Store?

RUMOR: A New Look For The PlayStation Store?

None

Sony has been making a lot of changes recently, and it looks like the next thing they are going to be altering could be the PlayStation Network store. If a recent report is to be believed, Sony will be adding features like a live search engine that populates the screen with search results as you type, a highlighted “deal of the week” section, and a database-like structure that allows you to view related content easily.

In addition to the changes made to the framework and structure of the PlayStation store, there will will be cosmetic changes. The familiar blue interface will reportedly be replaced with a dark background, which will contrast more with the on-screen items. The interface will also feature more images and be less list-like in appearance.

No word was given on when these changes will roll out, but according to the report, Sony is in the final testing phase of the new PlayStation Network store. If this redesign is real, it should be coming soon.
