RUMOR: Apple And Valve Working On New Console?

None

The Cult of Mac website recently posted an unconfirmed report that Apple CEO Tim Cook was spotted at Valve’s headquarters in Bellevue, Washington. Supposedly, they will be joining together with Valve to work on Valve’s new console project.

According to Cult of Mac, Apple will be working on a television set with an iTunes-integrated touch screen remote. In addition, this TV will have voice command technology, much like the iPhone’s Siri. Supposedly, the TV will also include a Kinect-like video game console. It will have built-in cameras which track your movement and will allow you to control a couple games with touch control. This partnership with Valve and Apple may also come with integration between Steam and the iTunes store.

As of right now, all of these reports are unconfirmed. Cult of Mac does not name their sources, nor does it directly link Valve to the Apple TV project.
