Scorpion Revealed As Newest Injustice DLC Character

Scorpion Revealed As Newest Injustice DLC Character

The next DLC character for Netherrealm’s newest fighting game, Injustice: Gods Among Us, has been revealed. Instead of a new DC Comics character, Scorpion from Mortal Kombat will be making a guest appearance complete with a new costume from DC’s very own Jim Lee.

Scorpion’s moves have been lifted directly from MK9. In fact, he appears to be quite a bit quicker in Injustice: Gods Among Us, integrating teleports into his combos in ways he would have never been able to before. Granted, Scorpion’s attacks are a little less brutal this time around, as Injustice is a T-rated game. However, he still has his trademark spear and hellfire moves and he still sends his opponent to hell after the battle is over.

A while back, word leaked that Scorpion, Lobo, Batgirl, and Zod were the four DLC characters coming to Injustice. As of now, three of these characters (Lobo, Batgirl, and Scorpion) were confirmed. So, it’s probably safe to assume that Zod is coming soon, but the end of Scorpion’s new reveal trailer gave us a close up of the Martian Manhunter. So, I’m a little confused?

Scorpion will be available to purchase for $4.99 or 400 Microsoft points. An official release date for the character has not been given.
