SEGA has notified us that House of the Dead: Overkill has shipped to retail outlets across North America. In case you hadn’t heard, Overkill looks to be brutally sweet. The devs have taken the classic on-rails arcade goodness of House of the Dead and amplified the fun with solid Wii controls and an over-the-top, “Grindhouse” vibe. This is SEGA’s first “M” rated title for Wii. Here’s what the PR team at SEGA had to say on the subject: “That’s right folks, House of the Dead: Overkill has officially shipped to retailers nationwide today exclusively on the Nintendo Wii. For those that have been waiting for some hardcore M rated goodness, SEGA is answering your cries for help and the first M rated Wii title to ship from SEGA is House of the Dead: Overkill. Featuring seven levels of mutant/undead killing goodness, you’re sure to have hours of fun as you take Agent G and Detective Washington through this wacky “Grindhouse” style adventure.” |
