Microsoft announced today that Shadow Complex, the XBLA exclusive action-platformer from Chair Entertainment, sold more than 200,000 downloads in just its first week. That makes Shadow Complex the fastest-selling XBLA title in the services history. As far as we’re concerned, the only thing surprising about this news is that the game didn’t sell more due to its great quality and bargain, $15 price tag. Scott Austin, Director of Digitally Distributed Games at Microsoft, had this to say on the subject: “Congratulations to Chair Entertainment and Epic Games for creating an outstanding game. As the capstone title of the second annual Summer of Arcade program, ‘Shadow Complex’ has raised the bar for downloadable games. We’re proud to offer such high-quality content on Xbox LIVE Arcade.”
