Those cars are playing basketball! Really. Rocket League’ s players will be able to enjoy some basketball battles starting April 26. A Hoops mode will be added in a free update. While standard Rocket League is like soccer, with teams of three trying to get a ball into the opposing team’s goal, the Hoops mode will put them in a basketball court with two hoops. Your mission? Launch the ball into the air to dunk it.

To go along with the theme, some paid DLC will arrive at the same time as the free Hoops add-on. A Rocket League NBA Flag Pack will add 30 flags with NBA team logos on them for $1.99. So your whole team could represent the Bulls and your opponents could be the Pistons.
If you haven’t played it yet, Rocket League is awesome. It was great before this Hoops update, and it’ll be even better after. It keeps getting more content and modes, so you definitely will have things to look forward to if you go ahead and grab it now.
