Skullgirls Picked Planning A PC Release

Skullgirls Picked Planning A PC Release

Skullgirls has been available for the Xbox 360 and PS3 for quite some time now. However, fans have been ravenously asking for a PC version for an equally long time. Luckily, it now appears as if a PC port is finally becoming available.

Lab Zero Games has teamed up with Marvelous AQL to produce the port. When signing the agreement, Marvelous AQL was given two options; they could have chosen to port the game quickly, and end up with a version that would more or less do what the console version does now, or they could opt for a slower process and create an expanded version with increased multiplayer capability such as online lobbies, and possibly even PS3 cross play! They opted for choice number 2.

Lab Zero Games says that work on the PC port will take roughly four months. This gives us an estimated release date at the end of May, or early June. Though, it is likely that we won’t see the PC version until the release of Skullgirls’ first DLC character, Squiggly.
