Sly Cooper: Thieves In Time Delayed

Sly Cooper: Thieves In Time Delayed

None

According to a recent trailer for Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time, the game has been pushed back from Fall 2012 to early 2013. Thieves in Time has been in development for a while now, and we haven’t heard much news from the developers, good or bad.

Thieves in Time will be one of the first games to take advantage of Sony’s “Cross Buy” promotion. Essentially, buying the PS3 version of the game will get you the Vita version for free. Hopefully this will become the standard for games that allow you to transfer saves from one platform to another.

Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time is being developed for Sanzaru Games, making it the first iteration of the series to be developed by anyone other than Sucker Punch studios. It’s possible that Sanzaru are simply delaying the game to a more favorable launch window. Several big titles have decided to skip the holiday 2012 season and instead aim for an early 2013 launch, when everyone is looking to blow their holiday cash as quickly as possible.

Sony has not yet given a reason for the delay. We will give you more information should it become available.
