Although the 3DS has only been out for one day, reports are already coming in that some of the systems have fallen victim to a fatal error, lovingly nicknamed the “Black Screen of Death.” This error is random, and users have said it can occur when playing games, using the menu, or even after just powering on the system.  The error itself simply produces a black screen, notes that an error has occurred, and advises the user to restart the system. In most cases this fixes the issue, but some have reported the error as persistent, and have contacted Nintendo for further assistance. |
