Conspicuously absent among Sega’s hullabaloo over Sonic Generations, ardent fans of the blue hedgehog may well have found themselves wondering if their spiky heroes recent foray into the world of episodic content had gone sour. With Sonic 4: Episode 2 nowhere to be seen, it fell to Sega of America and Europe president Mike Hayes to put those fears to rest.  He has offered assurances that not only is the next episode on track, but that Sega has heard gamers’ complaints about the first entry, “I know there were some quality issues that we had there that we’ve taken on board and there will be further episodes following up on that.” Despite his assurances that the title is still in production, neither Mr. Hayes nor anyone else at Sega has released any solid details on when the next episode of Sonic 4 will be available. |
