Sonic Generations Gets Collector’s Edition

Sonic Generations Gets Collector’s Edition

None

Let’s face it, if you have managed to stick with Sonic through all the werewolves and swords and random trips to Arabian Nights, you deserve a bonus. Well, the Sonic Generations Collector’s Edition is that bonus.

Announced earlier today, the Collector’s Edition includes a commemorative gold ring (which I doubt is real gold, but it’s still pretty cool), a figurine of both classic and modern sonic, a “20 Years of Sonic Art” booklet featuring concept art through all the Sonic generations, a 20th anniversary soundtrack collection featuring tunes from the entirety of Sonic’s lifespan, and “The History of Sonic: Birth of an Icon” a documentary about the trials and tribulations the Sonic Team faced these past twenty years.

That’s a whole lot of Sonic goodness, but here is the biggest surprise: We aren’t getting it!

At least, we aren’t getting it yet. Right now, the Collector’s Edition of Sonic Generations is only announced for Europe and Australia, which sucks for all the die-hard Sonic fans here in the States and over in Japan. Let’s cross our fingers and hope that SEGA has Collector’s Editions for us too.
