Today, over on the PlayStation Blog, Sony and Zipper Interactive announced SOCOM 4. Players will hop into a regional fight in Southeast Asia as a member of Ops Com. You’ll be part of a five-man squad in charge of putting a halt to a militant revolutionary before the conflict explodes into something far larger. You’ll have six days to get the job done through hotly-contested jungles and urban environments. On the multiplayer side of things, little info is known except that 32-player multiplayer battles will be in the offing and that there will be “more Special Forces units than ever before!” Below you’ll find the first three screens released by Zipper.
