Square Enix Registers New Trademark: Seeds of Salvation

Square Enix Registers New Trademark: Seeds of Salvation

Square-Enix has been busy at the Japanese Trademark Office recently. Two new Square-Enix trademarks can be found in the Japanese Trademark Database. The first covers the title Seeds of Salvation , which has also recently had a trademark filed for it in the United States. The other covers Luminaries of the Legendary Line , which hasn’t had a trademark filed in the U.S. just yet.

Siliconera, who first noticed the trademarks, speculates that this will be used as a subtitle for a Dragon Quest game of some sort. While the possibility for a new Dragon Quest title is there, it’s far more likely that these trademarks will be used as subtitles for Dragon Quest remakes. Siliconera’s money is on one of these titles being used for a mobile remake of Dragon Quest II . What is your money on?

Granted, the only evidence that they have is that they “sound” like Dragon Quest titles, what with the alteration and all. It’s not much, but hey, it’s all we got because Square-Enix is keeping their lips sealed. We will bring you more information on upcoming Dragon Quest titles as it becomes available.
