A new trademark has been filed with the European Trademark Office for something Final Fantasy -related. Square Enix has trademarked the phrase “Final Fantasy Type-0” which covers everything from games to toys. Though the trademark is remarkably vague as to what this new product may be, it seems a new game is most likely.  However, Square Enix has produced anime and manga before (including the highly-rated Fullmetal Alchemist series), so it wouldn’t be too far-fetched to speculate that this may be something else entirely! Square Enix does have a large media event coming up in January, so we will probably know more about this mystery trademark soon. |
