Star Wars: Commander Not Clash’ Copy Promises Developer

Star Wars: Commander Not Clash’ Copy Promises Developer

While you can fire up the old App Store or Google Play and find a myriad of games which are merely rip-offs of successful titles that came before, those behind Star Wars: Commander promise that’s not the case with their current release.

Some immediately drew comparisons to the hugely popular mobile hit Clash of Clans , there are however a few key differences that set this iteration apartment from Commanders counterpart. One is the fact that players will be able to choose a side (either the Galactic Empire or the Rebellion) which will have sway over which characters you’ll both encounter and control.

Also (after the Disney buyout) a conscious effort has been made to wrangle in all the splinter content of games, comics and TV shows under one umbrella. So can fans now consider Star Wars: Commander ’s plot-points official canon moving forward? For the most part, no. Even though the characters and locations are familiar to series veterans, the gamer will ultimately determine the course of events (thus making the outcome non-canon).

So which side will you choose in this epic confrontation? Find out in Star Wars: Commander , currently available for iOS!
