As reported by Gematsu on Friday, June 27, Kadokawa Games’ Strategy-Roleplaying Game Natural Doctrine is slated to release on Tuesday, September 16 in North America and on Friday, September 19 in Europe for Sony’s PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita platforms.
Retail and digital versions of the game will also be available, and the game’s Limited Edition includes a copy of the game itself, a softcover artbook, a tear-resistant poster and an explorer’s bag.
According to Gematsu, the Limited Edition will be available via NIS America’s (the game’s publisher) online store for $79.99, $69.99 and $59.99 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita respectively.
Natural Doctrine also features cross-play and cross-save across all platforms.
Back in April, we established that Kadokawa Games acquired Dark Souls developer From Software , and with its purchase Kadokawa gained 80 percent of the From Software’s stocks. Kadokawa plans for From Software to be a part of its group, along with Kadokawa Games, to work on the its core titles.
From Software CEO Naotoshi Zin shared a few words on the the benefits behind the studio’s acquisition. He summarized them into three key points, which are listed below.
To further expand platforms. Everything from simple hardware to cloud network;
The requirement to better correspond to regions (more global, more local); and
The coalescence between content.
