A lot of people have said that the Street Fighter V beta was a flop, even though figuring out exactly how much server load they could take was, you know, the point of the beta. So Capcom is warily starting up the beta again, but slowly, and this time they are making it clear that these are going to be “stress tests.”
The first will take place on August 20 from 4pm to 12am, only in Europe. A Second session will be held on the Aug 21 at the same time.
Provided that the beta goes off without lighting everything on fire, other territories will follow. “When we are confident with the results from this test, we will share the dates and times for North America and Asia’s region specific tests,” Capcom explained. “Once we have successfully completed each regional stress test, we will announce the dates and times of the official global beta test.”
When the global stress test goes up, it will last for five days, as was originally planned for the first stress test.
