Team Bondi Closing?

Team Bondi Closing?

None

After the big “slave driver” scandal over at team Bondi, I’m not surprised that the studio is going under. No one in their right mind would work for a studio that works their code-monkeys like actual monkeys.

According to a recent report by Develop, Team Bondi is selling off all of its assets and IP. All Team Bondi employees have been offered the choice of either a job at Kennedy Miller Mitchell or severance pay. One would expect a new company would acquire the L.A. Noire IP, but Rockstar already owns that IP and thus is strangely unaffected by these events.

Rumor has it that Team Bondi has gone bankrupt, but there hasn’t been confirmation of this yet. In addition, there is a rumor going around that Kennedy Miller Mitchell is simply outright buying Team Bondi. Either way, it’s unlikely that Team Bondi will exist much longer after selling off all of its IP and assets. In Australia, official documents detailing the closure or buyout of any company may take as much as twenty-eight days to go public, so we will have to wait and see.

Either way, I’m sure Rockstar isn’t going to be abandoning L.A. Noire any time soon.
