With the controversy surrounding Team Bondi’s work practices looming over Rockstar’s head, you have to wonder how this will eventually affect their relationship with the developer team. Our bet? Not positively. An unnamed source went on record today saying, “I’ve heard a lot about Rockstar’s disdain for Team Bondi, and it has been made quite clear that they will not publish Team Bondi’s next game… Rockstar used to be very keen on making Team Bondi something like ‘Rockstar Sydney’—the more they worked with Team Bondi management, the more they came to understand that this was a terrible idea.” 
Don’t worry, this doesn’t mean we won’t see another L.A. Noire, but it does mean that Rockstar and Team Bondi’s professional relationship is probably pretty much done with. |
