Team Bondi, infamous for L.A. Noire and labor scandals, is apparently developing a game for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox 720. According to the Team Bondi website, the game will be called Whore of the Orient. The game takes place in Shanghai and will focus on a life wrapped up in foreign western powers and local Chinese nationalists.
Not much is revealed about the game so far, but apparently it will have something to do with the international police force. Perhaps you will be playing some sort of enforcer for the force? Or perhaps you will be playing some sort of criminal.
The Team Bondi website says specifically that the game will be an original IP developed for the next generation of game consoles and PC. It doesn’t mention many details about these new consoles, but they do say that the graphics will be breathtaking. Let’s hope that they actually let the design team work reasonable work hours this time around.
