Tekken 7 Director Reveals New Character Lucky Chloe

Tekken 7 Director Reveals New Character Lucky Chloe

Katsuhiro Harada just revealed one of the most divisive characters in Tekken history for inclusion in Tekken 7. The character’s name is Lucky Chloe, a girl who dresses like a cat, wears headphones, and speaks in a ludicrously annoying voice.

Chloe fights with an incredibly acrobatic fighting style. It’s a combination of Eddie Gordo’s Capoeira moves and Lili’s graceful acrobatics style. Also she taunts you pretty much the whole match. It is quite possibly the most infuriating thing in the game right now.

Chloe’s reveal has seriously upset a good portion of the Tekken crowd. Harada has said that Chloe may only come out in European and Asian versions of Tekken 7, which has made some fans angry that they will be denied a new character, and some fans grateful that they won’t have to put up with Chloe’s saccharine stare. Personally, I don’t understand why people are upset about Lucky Chloe. This is Tekken, the game where a boxing raptor can take on a kung-fu bear, all while a zombie samurai and a giant army cyborg watch in the background. Like, are we really stretching the bounds of absurdity here with the raver cat-girl?
