Bandai Namco has partnered with Nintendo in order to work on a brand new Wii U title called Project Treasure . As part of a Nintendo initiative to bring interesting exclusive third party titles to their console, this will be the first of many third party titles dropping for the system in the next few years.
The game seems to be a sort of adventure game that focuses on disarming traps, defeating enemies, and collecting treasure. It is also primarily multiplayer, though its not actually clear whether or not it will be competitive or cooperative. No in-game assets were shown, however close ups of faces were shown which look a whole lot like the photorealistic faces that the Tekken series uses. That being said, it is unlikely that the game is Tekken related.
No release date was given for Project Treasure , however the game will be free to download. It’s unclear whether or not it will be making money in other ways, such as microtransactions. We will bring you more information on Project Treasure ’s release as it becomes available.
