Tekken Gets Bloody Vengeance On US Theaters

None

Perhaps you haven’t heard of Tekken: Blood Vengeance 3D. The 3D CG Tekken movie might have slipped under your radar, or perhaps you don’t watch movies that go straight to DVD/Blu-Ray. This month, though, that changes… For one night only.

On Tuesday, July 26, Tekken: Blood Vengeance 3D will be showing in theaters nationwide. In addition to the movie itself, which is also slated for release on home entertainment media, the theatrical presentation will be followed by a 20 minute special. The special includes interviews with the Tekken project director and screenwriter.

Tekken: Blood Vengeance 3D is a full-length feature film, produced by Digital Frontier and with a screenplay by Dai Sato, of Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex and Cowboy Bebop fame. The director, Youichi Mouri, is intimately familiar with Tekken cinema, having been the force behind the opening movies for both Tekken 5 and Tekken 6: Bloodline Rebellion.

Showings will be at 7:30pm local time and tickets can now be purchased from Fathom Events’ website.
