Not only is High Voltage’s The Conduit going to be the most visually stunning title to hit the Wii, but now it will also be one of the most aurally pleasing.

According to a SEGA press release outlining the partnership, legendary guitarist Rick Nielsen from Cheap Trick has composed and performed the title music for the Wii-exclusive first-person shooter.

“I hope these lunar notes float with you,” said Nielsen.  From what we can gather from his musical stylings, we almost certainly will.

Sean Ratcliffe, Vice President of Marketing, SEGA of America stated,”It is a testament to the growing word of mouth surrounding The Conduit that he took an interest in this project and was gracious enough to lend us his expertise.”

“Even though he’s known for driving rock guitar, he was able to provide great ambience and textural qualities that perfectly fits the mood of the game and helps it become a truly unique experience,” finished Eric Nofsinger, Chief Creative Officer at High Voltage Software.
