The Division Open Beta Begins Today on Xbox One

The Division Open Beta Begins Today on Xbox One

Tom Clancy’s The Division is almost here. Due out March 8, this ambitious, online, story-driven RPG has been incubating under Ubisoft Massive’s gently glowing creative bulb for years now, and it’s finally time for you to give it a go. Similar to the closed beta, for the open beta Xbox One players get an extra 24-hours of playtime. That means if you have an Xbox One you can go ahead and load up the beta client and start playing now. PS4 and PC owners can start playing tomorrow, and the open beta will last until Sunday.

The beta client weighs in at about 27 gigabytes, but if you still have the closed beta client downloaded you just have a small update to download (a little less than 2 gigs). If you already spent ample time roaming the Dark Zone in the closed beta, you’ll be glad to know that the Dark Zone has been tweaked and content has been added. There’s also one more story mission to play through, so it’s worth returning for the open beta if you’re interested in getting the game next month. Good luck, agent.
