Sony and Naughty Dog have been doing a lot to promote the Uncharted: Nathan Drake Collection for the PlayStation 4. One of these promotional tools was a livestream of the game hosted by Naughty Dog staff. An unexpected surprise, however, was deviating from the script to accidentally refer to a possible The Last of Us 2 .
It happened when Josh Scherr, a writer with Naughty Dog, mentioned Eric Baldwin was the lead animator on Uncharted , and also did all of the facial animations in the first The Last of Us . He then tried to backtrack and say only The Last of Us , omitting the “first” part. Baldwin laughed heartily at the moment.
