On a post written up on PlayStation.Blog on April 9, Naughty Dog officially announced that The Last of Us on PlayStation 4, titled The Last of Us Remastered , will have a summer release this year.
The Last of Us Remastered is touted to feature improved visual enhancements in 1080p resolution, including character models, lighting and shadow, textures and more. Additionally, the title will also feature an exclusive director’s commentary for all the in-game cinematics, and will come included with all the additional content released for The Last of Us . You’ll receive the Left Behind singleplayer expansion, the Abandoned Territories map pack and the Reclaimed Territories pack.
If you pre-order The Last of Us Remastered , you’ll also receive additional bonuses, which have been listed below.
100 Supply Points (XP) for use in Factions mode;
Two special bonus skins for Joel and Ellie which will be unlocked after you complete the single player campaign;
Increased Crafting Speed for use in the Single Player Campaign;
Increased Healing Speed for use in the Single Player Campaign;
9mm Reload Speed Increase Upgrade for use in the Single Player Campaign;
Rifle Clip Capacity Increase Upgrade for use in the Single Player Campaign.
It was first revealed that Naughty Dogs’ The Last of Us would be releasing on Sony’s PlayStation 4 console on a NeoGAF post near the end of last month, stating the title would be launching this summer. It was later confirmed by Naughty Dog that The Last of Us would indeed be releasing on the PlayStation 4, but no release date information was given at the time. There is also a full videogame adaptation movie of The Last of Us in the works.
