Planning to pick up Star Wars: The Old Republic when it releases later this year? Be ready to jump right in and build your guild early! BioWare is launching a new Guild Headquarters webapp that allows you to select guild names, appoint leaders , choose the Empire or the Republic, and set preferences for player-versus-player, player-versus-environment, or role-playing gameplay.  Even if you aren’t sure about joining a guild, you can still use the webapp to choose an online handle and select a side. Though The Old Republic still doesn’t have a release date, BioWare swears its on target for Spring 2011, so hopefully you’ll be able to go questing with your guild soon! |
